Artist Statement
Art has been a source of enjoyment and pastime since I was child. I am self taught artist painting the things in life that give me joy. My compositions often center on animals and nature. I am especially fond of horses. I own two horses and ride as often as possible. Thus many of my paintings are of horses. Over the years I have experimented with several different mediums. However, I found oil to be medium that gives me the means to express what I feel within and share my art with others.
