North Valley Art League is proud of its long-standing Annual Juried National Show, where League members compete with known and up-coming artists from all over the United States. Few cities the size of Redding can attest to a show of this importance. A nationally-recognized artist is invited each year to select and jury the works and present a week-long workshop. North Valley Art League's Annual National Juried Show brings together local and national artists in an exhibit that has been called one of the North State's best. Those who make the final cut may be assured that they are among some of the finest in the nation, making this our most anticipated competition by artists and viewers alike. The reception coincides with the Annual Redding Cultural Cruise. Visitors to the Gallery on this chilly January evening are met with a warm atmosphere, chamber music, fine food and beautiful art that become the counterpoints for lively conversation with other artists and art lovers alike.
